Life group studies finances

Do you want to budget better? Or have financial peace?
An adult life group at FLAG discusses how to do those things and more.
Several couples meet at FLAG every Sunday at 4pm to study the DVD- based curriculum of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. People who attend have the opportunity to purchase the study kit.
The life group consists of mainly married people with children, currently 8 couples attend, but it is open to anyone who would like to come.

Pictured at right with their children are some of the people currently attending the life group (couples left to right) Juan and Carrie Jassos, Luke and Angela Soohoo, Kevin and Tanya Carder, Clayton and Amy Cambell, Wes and Michelle Manuel, and Anthony and Misty Navartnam.

Several of the people attending have said that they have learned a lot from the financial study.
-“The curriculum has challenged us to get on a budget and has given us the tools to do it,” said Kevin Carder.
-“It’s nice to know that not everyone is in financial peace. We’re all in the same boat,” said Tanya Carder.
- “We have learned discipline in finances as well as in other things in life,” said Luke Soohoo about himself and his wife Angela.

There are 11 more weeks of the financial study left. After it is over, the life group will divide into 2 groups and the future study will be determined by the groups.
If you would like more information about this life group please contact Clayton and Amy Cambell at 620-231-6064.
