Thankful for all the support, great staff, encouragement, and hard work that went into a great day glorifying God yesterday.
With 158 chairs set up, the 9 am service was wonderfully full. Approx 130 adults in attendance.
The 10:45 service had over 180 fill the new auditorium. Chair problem!
Counting children’s church and nursery: just short of 420 people. Highest non-Easter attendance ever.
Then 28 were baptized at the City Pool later that day!
“Take my life and let it be, all for You and for Your glory.”

Many FLAG attenders will remember John McCoy. He attended FLAG as a PSU student for 3 years. We interviewed him back in early 2011 on a Sunday morning. He was a quarterback for the PSU football team.
He is now serving as a missionary in the American Samoan Islands.
Check out his newsletter here. The first page is specific to John, the rest seems to be the ministry’s main newsletter.
I encourage you to pray and support John as well as share this on your social media. Thanks!

Arrangements have been made and can be seen in a wonderfully written obituary here.
The church is providing a meal for the immediate family which will number approximately 50 people. Our desire is to love and serve her family, and they have requested coffee and dessert.
We are asking people to make desserts. Please sign up and let us know what you will make, and how many people it will serve.
You may bring them to the church on Monday from 10 am to 3 pm.
You may email your info to office@flagchurch.com.

This past Tuesday morning Dorothy Shirley went to meet her Savior after a long illness.
Dorothy was a joy to minister to as she relished walking in new found grace.
Her recent baptism is an indicator of how much she loved grace.
A memorial service will be held at the church on Friday at 4 pm.
