Pastor Chris and Kristy's Last Sunday

I am proud of how Family Life blessed and sent off Chris and Kristy. We had a great attendance, many gifts, and the largest special offering FLAG has ever received, over $1600.

Please pray as we patiently seek new full time ministerial staff to serve God here at FLAG.

* The DVD Player is a gift to Mason from the church.

Bible Studying Men

The Men’s Life Group at FLAG meets every Wednesday night from 7-8:15 p.m. and is led by Pastor Mark Lehman. They are currently studying the topic of leadership and reading the story of David and Saul. The next study will be called Wild at Heart; the men will be fasting and attending a retreat as part of it. Please pray for the group as they prepare in the future to attend the Men's Fasting Retreat June 6-8.

Pictured are the men who were in attendance March 26. Bottom row (left to right) Alan McClure, Louis Padilla, Frank Benskin, Clayton Cambell, and Tim Snider. Top Row (left to right) Denis Hockett, Shelby McLeod, Mike Palmer, Jon Page, Jim Fine, and Mark Lehman.

For many who attend the Bible study, Wednesday nights is something they don’t want to miss- no matter how tired their schedules may make them feel during the week.

What draws them back each week?

"Good fellowship with other Christian friends," said Jim Fine.

"Good fellowship with other men, get closer to God, and learn more about him," said Tim Snider.
Denis Hockett said that he enjoys the experience of a strong Bible study group. "I enjoy it (the Bible study) each week and don't want to miss it," said Hockett.

For more information about the Men's Life group, please contact Pastor Mark Lehman- mark@pastor.com or call the church 620-232-FLAG.

Fuel Buy Down- Evangelistic Outreach

Once a year, for 4 years now, FlAG has a fuel buy down at a gas station in Pittsburg. For an hour on Sunday, March 16 the price of gas was reduced at Bo's 1 Stop gas station by 50 cents a gallon. About 40 people from FLAG served and 107 cars came through the pumps.
Several "crews" showed God's love by pumping gas, washing windows, and talking to people.

Pictured (left to right) is Lisa and Scott Bennett, Alvin Jackson,Heather Wingo, and Christine Bennett.

Pictured is Luke Coleman washing windows for a customer. Gas was reduced to $2.75 for an hour for 10 gallons of fuel, a welcome change from $3.25.
Flag has evangelistic outreaches such as this one to show God's love in a practical way and to plant a seed in people's hearts.

Rainbows

Rainbows is led by leaders (left to right) Misty Nawaratnam and Amy Campbell. It is a group for children ages 3 to 5 years old. It meets at 7 p.m. at FLAG on Wednesday nights alongside the Women and Men's Bible groups. Rainbows is held in the nursery, but it is about more than just play time during this 7 o'clock hour- this group has an organized study and a monthly memory verse. Currently they are studying the animals of Noah's ark. This month is the butterfly and forgiveness. The Bible verse for March is Colossians 2:15 God forgave all our sins.
Next month in April it will be the Zebra and to be like Jesus.

Pictured are some of the children who attend the Rainbows group (left to right) Emma Haserlick, Justin Compton, Easton King, Abby Painter, Thomas Snider, and Matthew Dalton.

If you would like more information about Rainbows, please contact Amy Campbell at
