Evangelistic Outreach with Cocoa

On Jan. 20 from 3-5 p.m. a group of about 22 people from FLAG participated in an evangelistic outreach at Pittsburg Wal-Mart handing out free hot cocoa. More than 3 dozen containers of powered cocoa were used in making the hot chocolate. FLAG does outreaches like this one in order to show Christ's love in a practical way and to build horizontal and vertical relationships. Along with the cocoa, church members were handing Wal-Mart shoppers a church business card. Pictured( left to right) is Anthony Navaratnam and Steve Snider handing out cocoa.
