Evangelistic Outreach with Cocoa

On Jan. 20 from 3-5 p.m. a group of about 22 people from FLAG participated in an evangelistic outreach at Pittsburg Wal-Mart handing out free hot cocoa. More than 3 dozen containers of powered cocoa were used in making the hot chocolate. Pictured (left to right) is Michelle McClure, Ashlee Hisey, Clayton Cambell (in the background handing out cocoa), Baylee Hisey, and Pastor Chris Baker.

FLAG does outreaches like this one in order to show Christ's love in a practical way and to build horizontal and vertical relationships. Along with the cocoa, church members were handing Wal-Mart shoppers a church business card. Pictured( left to right) is Anthony Navaratnam and Steve Snider handing out cocoa.
